Yield Seeker AI Agent: Visual Guide
Step-by-step walkthrough of how to maximize your stablecoin yields with our AI agent
This guide is adapted from the
Get Started
Start by opening up the Yield Seeker website at yieldseeker.xyz.
Yield Seeker homepage with Launch App button
Next hit the "launch app" button on the top right to open the Yield Seeker app itself. Here you'll be asked to connect your wallet, connect to the Base network in your wallet, and then "Sign to log in".
Welcome screen with wallet connection and sign in
If this is your first time on the platform you'll be led through the onboarding flow, where you'll start by being asked to create your account, set a username, and accept the disclaimer.
Account creation with username and disclaimer acceptance
Note that the referrer field here can include another user who's referred you in order to get points, but you can also fill this out later within the app in the Account section.
You'll then be guided through an onboarding explanation about the Yield Seeker platform explaining how it works and how agents will "autoseek" for you, which is currently entirely free while we're in Beta.
Autoseek feature explanation and benefits
Next you'll be asked to give your agent a name and emoji! In the example below you'll see I went with the name "🦄 Unicorn Rush" for this agent!
Agent naming and emoji selection interface
Note that in the future the platform will support multiple agents per user, and you'll be able to name all of them as you like.
Wallet
With your newly created agent you'll be led straight into the wallet tab where you'll see clear instructions that the agent needs both ETH and USDC to work.
Agent funding requirements and wallet status
Your agent needs:
• ETH to pay for transaction fees/gas (which are thankfully low on Base)
• USDC to invest on your behalf on the best yield opportunities.
In this early version of our platform your agent will only be able to invest USDC on the Base network for you, however as the platform evolves we plan to allow for more assets on more chains.
If you do not have any ETH or USDC on the Base network in your wallet (as in the example above), then now is the time to bridge some over. If you don't know how to do this I've made a couple of recent posts on jumper.exchange and relay.link that'll help.
Wallet showing available ETH and USDC for transfer
With some ETH and USDC in your wallet you can now hit "Transfer" to send some over to the agent. Note that gas on Base is cheap so $3-5 worth of ETH should be more than enough, and in this case I've just sent $10 in USDC as an example below.
Successful USDC transfer to agent wallet with auto-seek options
With your agent wallet loaded up all that's left to do is start the agent by pressing the green "Enable Auto-Seek" button! Once you press it the agent will kickstart into motion and move your money to start earning you yield, giving you a screen like this:
Auto-seek enabled with agent actively earning yield
Nice work, your agent has gotten started and is ready to go!
Performance
The performance tab is where you can see the actions your agent's taken and how well they have performed.
With a brand new agent this screen will be somewhat empty as it gathers data and begins to take actions on your behalf, so instead you'll see a demo account of an agent that's been running for months.
Performance dashboard showing balance, yield earned, and APY metrics
As you can see this agent has a balance of over $10,000 in USDC and has earned over $21 of yield. At the moment this screen capture was taken it was earning 4.65% APY, having earned over 6.6% over the past 7 days and 5% across the entire period.
You can also see there from the graph it used to manage a much smaller amount of money before taking on a much larger balance around the 22nd of April.
Further below you'll also see all the actions that the agent has taken on your behalf, and we're working to add in a brief explanation of why it took those actions.
List of agent actions with dates and descriptions
You can think of the performance tab as the hub for tracking your agent's activities and we've tried to keep it as clean and simple as possible, because ultimately Yield Seeker is all about automating DeFi yield generation while taking away the complexity for you.
Discuss
This is where you can speak directly with your agent.
When you arrive in this tab you'll see a text box at the bottom that you can use to ask your AI Agent questions, with some example prompts showing up as below:
AI agent chat interface with example prompts
Your AI agent will try to formulate the best answers it can for the questions you give it, like what we see here.
Example of AI agent response explaining yield strategy
In the current format the "Discuss" tab is mainly to query your agent on what it's doing to generate you yield, why it's doing it, and to learn more from it about DeFi.
However, we're working to develop this section further in such a way where by interacting with your agent and it'll learn more about your risk profile and your financial goals to guide it's decision making. As I said at the top, the future we're creating here is one where AI Agents become your personalised investment managers!
For now though it's important to remember that we're still in Beta and there are times where the AI won't be able to answer your questions or it will make some mistakes. If there's anything specific you'd like it to answer then please send us feedback on the support page.
Support and feedback form for submitting suggestions
Also if there are any other general suggestions on features or improvements then you can submit them through this page too, or you can send me a message on X or in our Token Page Discord.
Airdrop & Leaderboard
Last but not least we have our leaderboard. We haven't released our token yet, but when we do there'll be an airdrop to those on the leaderboard, where the higher you are the larger your airdrop will be!
Leaderboard showing points breakdown and user rankings
As I mentioned earlier you earn bonus points for being early onto the app and depositing at least $100 of USDC, specifically these are the "Trailblazer" and "Earliness" bonus points, where:
• Trailblazer points are given out in tiers with users 1-200 getting the most points, followed by users 200-500, 500-1000, and 1000-2000.
• Earliness points are based on how long it took you to get sign up, the sooner the better. So even if you're not in the top 200 you may still get a large earliness bonus for joining asap and depositing $100.
In the account tab you can get your socials connected such as your X account and Discord account which will earn you another 5,000 points each.
Account page showing referral system and social media connections
Plus from the account page you can copy your own referral link and get more people onboard. For every person you get onboard, you earn an additional 10% of their points, so if you've referred 20 friends who've earned 10,000 points each then you'll get an additional 10% x (20 x 10,000) = 20,000 points boost.
Finally and most importantly you'll get points purely by earning yield. Every $1 of yield you earn gives you 1,000 points. So the more money you put in the more yield you'll earn, and consequently the more points you'll get!
